Ali Abood

Ali Abood is Managing Partner of Continvest Capital. Prior to being involved with Continvest Capital he served as Company Director for Finance, Business Development, Senior Advisor and International Consultant for various multinational corporations with 15 plus years in the field of marketing and business development especially in the Middle East and Africa in the natural resource sector; energy and commodity trading.

Ali has a track record in utilised Petro-dollars from the Middle Eastern banks for investment in various projects in the Middle East and Africa. Has successfully arranged syndicated loans for various commodity deals, projects and bridging finance for the Middle East and Africa from European and North American Institutions resulting in successful conclusion to major transactions in the following regions:

• The Middle East: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Egypt and Morocco.
• Africa: All countries in East Africa, West Africa, Centra Africa and South Africa.
• Indian Subcontinent: India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Emily Mwenewanda

Emily Mwenewanda, is Partner of Continvest Capital. Prior to joining Continvest, Emily worked for several European Institutions, working in European Equities market then moving on become co-founder and Partner at Equity Capital Resources (Tanzania),  a boutique investment firm that dealt in private equity and financial advisory in East Africa. There she gained experience in both private equity and debt finance.
